Training

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.”

2 Timothy 2:15

LifeConnect.Church equips its workers to be rooted and built-up in Him, and established in their faith. This results in bringing out the best version of themselves in Christ, leading to effective discipleship and service.

The Isaachar Project

Living a Life of Wisdom and Discernment - A Thought Leadership Program

The conceptual basis for this program is found in 1 Chronicles 12:32, which describes the gathering of many "mighty men of valour" around David to make him king over Israel, as God had ordained. One group of warriors who joined this cause were the men of Issachar, of whom it is said that they "understood the times" (discernment) and "knew what Israel should do" (wisdom).

The Apostle Paul echoed a similar sentiment with regards to the importance of discernment and wisdom in Ephesians 5:15-17 where he said, “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”

This course is designed to help our young adults navigate the challenges of our times and their future with wisdom and discernment, so that they may run and finish well in the race that God has set before them.

Surprising Secrets of a Happy Marriage

The book of Shaunti Feldhahn is based on research involving surveys and interviews with a thousand couples from all walks of life who have identified a multitude of common relationship "light bulb" moments. Why are they referred to as "surprising secrets"? Because it's often the simple, little things - the unexpected things - that count the most

These "bright spots" of highly happy marriages are knowable, learnable, transferable, doable, and applicable. This couples event shares a mix of testimonies, light-hearted teaching, and honest conversations between spouses.

Emotionally Healthy Discipleship

LifeConnect.Church is committed to genuine discipleship that leads to deeply changed lives and deeply connected relationships in Christ. We encourage all congregants to take part in Pete and Geri Scazerro’s Emotionally Healthy Discipleship program to build a transformative discipleship pathway. EHD is a 16-session program with two distinct parts:

 Emotionally Healthy Spirituality (EHS)

This 8-session course is the first part of the Emotionally Healthy Discipleship program. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality is a "soft break" to slow down your life and cultivate a deeper relationship with Jesus, whilst learning your true self in Christ. EHS is underpinned by the ethos that “You cannot give what you do not have. You can only give what you first possess.”

“EHS was very life changing for me. I am now more honest and open to God especially with all my emotions and with whatever I’m going through. I realised I don’t have to pretend in front of Him and have the façade of being so strong all time. Having that realization, a lot of strongholds, old beliefs and traditions have been broken. I’m now discovering and getting to know God more every day like never before.”  ~ Jui

“EHS is a great course. It helped show where I’m at the in my relationship with Christ and how I am emotionally, for which I am very thankful. One area it helped me was in my understanding of the Sabbath. I’m very grateful for that also. I would highly recommend this course.”   ~ Andy

Emotionally Healthy Relationship (EHR)

This 8-session course is the second part of the EHD program. Loving others is the true essence of spirituality. As relational skills often do not come easily or naturally, this course is designed to equip believers in Christ with the practical skills we need to love others well and be a gift to people and community.

“I have learned from EHR that all emotions are gifts from God including anger and sadness, and it’s okay to feel it. It helped me to be more in touch with my emotions and be able to understand my triggers. As a result, I deal better now with my anger, and sudden outbursts of sadness. My relationship with my family has improved a lot, especially with my kids. Daily reflection has been a natural thing and the desire to be closer and rely on God became stronger.” ~ Chie

“I highly recommend EHR course and I am glad I had the opportunity to do it. The course helped me navigate thru different emotions and how to act on a certain way in a positive, non-threatening and Godly manner. The book is structured yet flexible to be read anytime in the morning and evening. It is an important course teaching us to love others when faced with un-loving situation. It’s so easy to let emotions get in the way when dealing with difficult situations but I learned that no matter how hard a situation is, there’s always a better way to approach it. Thank you to LifeConnect for facilitating this course ” ~ Bianca
